TARBUSH RESTAURANT AC HOTEL IPOH, PERAK
Project Overview
BintangGas has successfully completed a full LPG piping system installation for the commercial kitchen at Tarbush Restaurant Ipoh, located within the prestigious AC Hotel. This project reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering safe, code-compliant, and efficient gas infrastructure for hospitality clients across Malaysia.
Project Background
Tarbush Restaurant required a dependable LPG supply to power its high-demand commercial kitchen equipment, including grills, ovens, and burners used throughout daily food preparation. As a hotel-based establishment, safety, reliability, and minimal disruption to hotel operations were top priorities for the client. BintangGas was engaged to design, supply, and install a piping system capable of meeting these demanding requirements while adhering to strict industrial safety standards.
Scope of Work: LPG Piping System Installation
Our specialized engineering team managed the entire project lifecycle, from initial site assessment through to final handover. Key scope items included the supply and installation of LPG pipework throughout the kitchen facility, precise routing of the gas piping system downstream of the main gas meter, integration with existing kitchen equipment, and close coordination with hotel management to minimise disruption to ongoing operations.
A primary focus of this project was ensuring the gas piping system downstream of the meter was installed with precision, guaranteeing safe and uninterrupted gas flow to every point of use in the kitchen.
Commercial Kitchen Gas Piping Installation Process
The commercial kitchen gas piping network was installed using industry-approved materials and jointing methods, chosen for their durability in the high-heat, high-traffic environment of a working commercial kitchen. Our technicians carefully mapped each pipe run to avoid interference with existing hotel infrastructure, ensuring the LPG piping system installation blended seamlessly into the building without compromising accessibility for future maintenance.
Safety & Compliance
Gas safety is non-negotiable in any commercial kitchen environment. Every stage of this project, from design through to installation, was carried out in accordance with the guidelines set by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia), the national authority responsible for regulating gas supply and safety standards in Malaysia.
Testing & Commissioning
Following installation, the system underwent rigorous leak testing, pressure verification, and functional checks to confirm safe operation under real working conditions. This meticulous process, part of our broader Testing & Commissioning Services, forms a critical final step before any gas system is handed over to the client. As a result, Tarbush Restaurant received a leak-free, high-performing, and fully compliant gas infrastructure ready for daily commercial use.
Key Benefits Delivered
This project delivered several important benefits to Tarbush Restaurant and AC Hotel Ipoh. The new LPG piping system installation provides a stable and continuous gas supply for all kitchen operations, reducing the risk of downtime during peak service hours. The precise installation of the gas piping system downstream of the meter also simplifies future maintenance and inspection, saving time and cost for the client in the long run. In addition, full compliance with national safety standards gives hotel management peace of mind, knowing that the commercial kitchen gas piping network has been designed, installed, and tested by a certified professional team.
